Dr. Jen Collins is the Executive Director of Open Road For All. She would like to acknowledge the stolen Lands of Tonkawa, Lipan Apache, and Comanche people on which she works and lives. She would like to acknowledge all individuals who were enslaved on these lands. She would like to acknowledge all individuals who were participants in research studies that helped us understand the successes and challenges for overcoming and enduring inequality gaps. Jen would like to acknowledge all the teachers, family, friends and community members who supported her.

Jen has worked in academic, hospital, outpatient, and community settings. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Catholic University of America, a Master of Science in Nursing from Baylor University, and a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Nursing from University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio.
